Overview

ReCo6502Mini is a remake, using modern parts, of the Acorn 65C102 Co-Processor (which was introduced in 1986).

ReCo6502Mini is faithful to the original specification. But it offers one major enhancement. It will run at the original 4 MHz, but also at 2, 8 and 16 MHz.

Using ReCo6502Mini

Using ReCo6502Mini is, basically, no different than using the original Acorn 65C102 Co-Processor. Refer to the original Acorn 65C102 Co-Processor manual for most of the operating instructions.

Additional commands

There are two new *-commands :

• *Speed, followed by the desired processor clock speed in MHz, will select the first available equal or lower speed. E.g. '*Speed 16' will select 16 MHz, but '*Speed 15' would select 8 MHz. Speeds below 2 select 2 MHz. You may issue this command at any time. No reset (soft or hard) is necessary afterwards. The selected speed persists until power off. The default after power on is always 4.
• *GoS, which will transfer control to the supervisor.
