Software

The latest version of the GoMMC software is 1.20 (20 October 2024). It is included with this guide, in this directory. To perform a 'firmware update', refer to 'Update the software' in the Use section.

The files in the 'All' directory are for all versions of GoMMC. The files in the 'Generic', 'Electron' and 'Special' directories are files that are different for a GoMMC running on, respectively, a BBC model B or Master, an Electron, or a BBC B+.

Most of these files are referred to in the Use section, whenever appropriate. The files that are not are :

• storage_struct

  This is a text file that describes the structure of what GoMMC stores on a flash card. It is for reference only.

• osword_b0

  This is a text file that describes the (rough) details of the API that GoMMC provides. It is for reference only.

• Updates

  This is a text file that describes what changed since the last version(s) of the software.
